Cathy Holt, Auction Director, commented 'We are looking forward to be taking our online auctions one step further next month, it’s just a shame about the circumstances surrounding it. Due to Covid-19, our next auction will be streamed live with our resident auctioneer. All bidders will need to register for remote bidding. There will be no in-room bidding and the live stream will be released on our website on the morning of the auction.'
So far this year Sutton Kersh have sold a total of 140 Lots, equating to an impressive total value of £12.2 Million. This is a great achievement for the first quarter of the year considering the current global pandemic and uncertain times the world is facing.
The interest around property auctions is still strong as it’s a quick and effective way to buy and sell property or land. For example, in Sutton Kersh’s 2nd April auction a vendor instructed Sutton Kersh to sell their property, 77 Dryden Street, a week before the auction. After only a week of marketing this property sold for £50k, which was £15k over the guide price.
The Sutton Kersh May auction will feature a mixture of commercial & residential properties, along with some fantastic investment & development opportunities. Two new properties that are already proving popular are 58 Argyle Street South in Birkenhead and a bungalow on Gateacre Vale Road.
