Sutton Kersh will donate £50 for every property that is sold at their 12th July auction to Marie Curie Cancer Care in support of their Blooming Great Tea Party campaign.
The charity that provides care for terminally ill patients and their families in their homes and in hospices are running the national campaign between the 12th June and the 12th July. Last year Marie Curie ran a similar campaign and raised enough money to fund 30,200 hours of care with every £20 raised funding one hour of nursing care.
James Kersh comments, "We are delighted to be able to support such a fantastic and worthwhile cause. Sadly these days, it is incredibly rare for anyone to not know someone that has had cancer or that has someone close to them that is suffering. The team behind Marie Curie provide a wonderful service and we hope that the campaign exceeds the brilliant success that was achieved last year. From every property sold we will be able to provide 2 ½ hours care; that provides a huge motivation. We are also looking at other ways to support the charity through our branches".
The 'Blooming Big Property Auction' will take place at the Marriott Hotel in Queens Square in Liverpool City Centre. Entries into the auction are being accepted up until Wednesday 15th June, with over 50 properties already confirmed.
