Pre-registering to bid at auction

To comply with Anti-Money Laundering regulations, you must now pre-register with us if you are intending to bid at auction.

If you are interested in bidding for one of the properties in our forthcoming auctions you must either send us two forms of CERTIFIED ID or come into our office with your original ID so that we can certify it.

We will need one item from List A and one from List B below.

List A - Photographic evidence of identity

  • Current signed passport
  • Current full UK/EU photocard Driving licence
  • Valid identity card (e.g. HM Forces, police warrant/prison officer card, government/local authority issued card)
  • Firearm or shotgun certificate
  • Resident permit issued by the Home Office to EU nationals

List B - Evidence of Residence

  • Utility bill issued in last three months (not mobile phone)
  • Recent bank / building society / mortgage / credit card statement
  • Revenue & customs tax notification (current tax year)
  • Current house / motor insurance certificate
  • Recent council tax bill / council rent book

Please be aware you cannot enter the auction room without doing this and if you leave it until the auction day then you may face delays.
