First-time buyers must act now if they are to complete before the Stamp Duty holiday cut-off date on the 24^th March.

The Stamp Duty holiday provides first-time buyers with the opportunity to purchase a property up to the value of £250,000 without paying any Stamp Duty Land Tax. Purchases must complete before midnight on the 24^th March in order to qualify for the exemption otherwise the tax will revert back to the previous rate of 1% and first-time buyers will be liable for the charge.
