We have further strengthened our Sutton Kersh Lettings team with the appointment of Mary King from Castle Estates.
Mary is ARLA qualified and brings with her eight years experience in the Liverpool rental market.
Whilst the lettings market continues to flurry amidst economic uncertainty, we are keen to expand our resources to ensure we have the capacity to manage the growing number of tenants and landlords in the marketplace.
Demand from tenants is high across all areas of Liverpool, particularly the City Centre and South Liverpool suburbs.
According to a recent national study carried out by Paragon Mortgages Landlords are looking to capitalise on the growth of the private rented sector and are feeling increasingly positive about its prospects. The study found that landlords have built their portfolios up to an average of 13 properties over the last few months, and plan to acquire more in the new year.
Phil Lawton, director at Sutton Kersh comments “An increase in the supply high quality rental properties is needed to satisfy the high levels of demand filtering through from frustrated first-time buyers, and homeowners hit by the recession. It is also thought that the flexible living arrangements the private rented sector offers may well become a preferred way of living for today's younger generations in the future.
We are delighted to welcome Mary to our team. Her experience and knowledge will be a strong asset to us, and we look forward to a successful new year.”
